Finnish language lessons with student-orientated but confident and proficient teacher. Teaching in Ukrainian, Russian or English. Course intended for adults (18 y.o. and older, level: A0-B2).

The main focus will be on acquiring the whole Finnish grammar structure, achieving the best vocabulary possible and training pronunciation skills in order to successfully pass YKI test. Course also improves listening, speaking and writing skills, includes basics of Finnish stylistics (kirjakieli VS puhekieli). Another feature is introduction to Finnish culture, which can be provided more or less widely, depending on student's goals, interests and deadlines. Work type: Grammar, exercises, discussion, reading. In some cases word quizzes could also be a part of learning process. Student always can make propositions and give feedback during lessons.

Course typically consists of:
1. Grammar themes in order, close to Suomen Mestari 1-4 order. Another possible source: L. White "Finnish for foreigners".
2. Lexical themes in the same order as in Suomen Mestari 1-4, with additional themes in between.
3. Additional vocabulary from Kieli Käyttöön 1-2, Suomen kieli tikapuut 1-2, Kipinä (all), Harjoitus tekee mestarin (all), Yle (Areena), Youtube and open internet sources.
4. Additional grammar exercises from Harjoitus tekee mestarin 1-2, Kipinä and other sources.
5. Additional writing/vocabulary exercises from Harjoitus tekee mestarin 3-4, Kielo, Kipinä.
6. Lessons may include exercises from YKI treenit.

During about 4 years of experience I have taught Finnish in three online-schools (UNiF, LinguaContact, Tomas School) and have had several students outside of schools.
